Hello to all of the QEPP schools from the schools’ cluster group coordinator in the UK. My name is Rebecca Lodge and I used to be the Assistant Headteacher at Clanfield Junior School, but now I am a Senior Lecturer at Winchester University where I work in the Department for Teacher Development. This is where undergraduates and postgraduate students prepare to be teachers. The above photograph was taken when I first joined the university in August, right after my most recent visit to Uganda.
In October the university held its graduation ceremonies at Winchester Cathedral and I was able to take part in the celebrations with my faculty.
These photographs show some of the university buildings by night.
I am looking forward to reading all of the schools’ blogs from Kafuro, Liss, Bukorwe, Clanfield, Katunguru, Hart Plain, Mahyoro, West Meon, Kyambura, Sheet, Nyakatonzi and Herne.
